Description
A part of my investigation of “how can art reflect contemporary life”, this landscape serves as a metaphor for the overwhelming nature of a complex world that is highly interconnected. Fascinated by the impact of globalism and post-modernist philosophy, I believe these movements have led to a lack of emotional/spiritual foundation and dualistic connections with others(as seen especially through technology). The biomorphic elements I employ are meant to communicate that sense of connectivity, yet each circle remains distinct, intending to mirror independent virtual communities united through the medium of technology.
